Use this view to add, delete, or edit personal contacts.
To view public contacts, click Folders, then, in the Public Folders section, click Contacts. You must have Administrator privileges to add, delete, or edit public contacts.
The following information is displayed for each contact. You can sort the view by most columns by clicking the column header.
Some of these columns are hidden by default. Click Columns to show them.

Name |
Contact's name. Click to edit the contact in the the Contact window. You can choose whether ViewPoint Web Access displays names in the format "First Last" or "Last, First." See Options for details. |

Company |
Contact's company. |

Title |
Contact's title. This column is hidden by default. Click Columns to show it. |
|
PIN |
Contact's PIN, if one is assigned. A Contact PIN is a numeric code that you enter in TeleVantage ViewPoint and give out to the contact as the final numbers of your extension. When the contact dials your extension-plus-PIN, TeleVantage identifies them no matter what telephone they're calling from. |

Phone Number |
Contact's default phone number. Click the number to place a call to it. The ViewPoint Web Access switches to the Call Monitor view, and your station rings to connect you to the call. To place a call to another of the contact's

Voice Title |
If checked, the contact has a voice title recorded. |
|
Notes |
Any notes associated with the contact. |
|
Description |
Any description associated with the contact. |
|
Account Code |
The account code associated with this contact, if any. The account code will be automatically used on calls involving this contact. |
The following options are available for the view as a whole:

alphabet links |
Click a letter to scroll directly to contact names beginning with that letter. |

Click to open the Place Call To window to place a call. |
|
|
Click to open the Contact window, in which you can create a new contact. |
|
|
Click to delete all checked contacts. |
|

Click to refresh the view. |
|
Folders |
Click to open the Folders window, in which you can click any view or folder to open it in the ViewPoint Web Access. |

Columns |
Click to open the Columns window, in which you can choose to show or hide columns for the current view. Some views' columns are hidden by default. |

Options |
Click to open the Options window, in which you can set preferences for your TeleVantage account. |

Help |
Click for context-sensitive online Help on this view. |

Log off |
Click to log off from ViewPoint Web Access. If you are requiring password entry, logging out ensures that no one can use your browser's Back button to access your TeleVantage account. Once you log out, you must log in again with your password to return to ViewPoint Web Access. If you are using automatic login to skip password entry, there is no need to log out. Use of the Back button after logging out returns you to ViewPoint Web Access's Voice Messages view without requiring your password. |

Personal Status |
Drop-down list at the bottom of the screen. Displays your current personal status. Click to select a different personal status. |
